Product Description
An edible casing generally used to make pork sausage links or breakfast sausage. Approximately 100 yards long. Sausage Maker casings come packed in purified salt for an indefinite shelf life when refrigerated.
Casings should be soaked in lukewarm water for at least an hour before using (to get most of the salt off). Salted casings have a very long shelf life when stored properly in a refrigerator. Un-refrigerated, these salted casings quickly begin to give off a strong odor even though they are not spoiled. Put them back under refrigeration and this odor for the most part subsides.
PLEASE NOTE: Natural casings cannot be shipped outside the US
Stuffing capacity per hank: 50-60 lbs.
Diameter: Approximately 7/8" to 1" when stuffed

Sheep casings
This is a second review a follow up of sorts. I was not happy with them when I received them but since then I went back and read more about them I followed the directions and they didn’t smell as bad. I was able to use them with no problems. Very pleased with them. Them I received a call to check on how the company could solve my problem and I was able to tell the it was resolved and will be shopping with them again. Vers fast on delivery and customer service! Thank you
