These are non-edible fibrous casings that are used for making summer sausage. The casings are made from high quality materials and mahogany in color. The bags are string tied on one end, and are ready to fill.
Makes a perfect size summer sausage, just like you find in the stores. Not an edible casing.

NOTE: Fibrous casings must be pre-soaked for 30 minutes in 80ºF to 100ºF water before stuffing.
All casings need to be pre-stuck (pin pricked) to allow for better smoking and eliminate air pockets.
