These are non-edible fibrous casings that are used for making summer sausage. The casings are made from high quality materials and mahogany in color with a venison head printed on the outside.The bags are string tied on one end, and are ready to fill.
Makes a perfect size summer sausage, just like you find in the stores. Not an edible casing.

NOTE: Fibrous casings must be pre-soaked for 30 minutes in 80ºF to 100ºF water before stuffing.
All casings need to be pre-stuck (pin pricked) to allow for better smoking and eliminate air pockets.
